Unable to climb to summit, as lodges fully booked
Spent 2 nights in the worst accomodation of our trip so far

Merlion Park – the ‘Merlion’ was incarcerated in ‘The Merlion Hotel’- a ghastly piece of art by some man named Nishi!!! – thus preventing us from taking the holiday snaps exactly the way we wanted, but we did get to touch it’s head.
Drank a ‘Singapore Sling’ and threw peanut shells on the Long Bar’s floor boards at the Raffles Hotel.

Day 3 2am rise for premorning hike up Gunung Batar Volcano in time for sunrise
Rest of the day spent relaxing in the beautiful Kamandalu Resort Delicious
